My passion for photography began 23 years ago when I took my first photography class in high school. While I like to be in front of the camera, it was this class and a few fashion show(s) that made me realize my true love was to be behind the camera. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications. While I was in college, I decided I wanted to pursue photography as a career and not just as a hobby. So, I decided it was time to make my dream become a reality! I learn more about photography and about life as every year goes by. I want every picture I create to tell a story without using words and to create emotions between those that view the photograph and the photograph itself. Photography is about capturing moments in time...
There is a story to be told. A story that has no words and has no sounds; it has vivid expression. Long or short. A story exists. The way a 2-week old baby fits into a fathers hands or the way a bride's eyes twinkle when she walks down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. My focus is to capture memories of love, connection, and friendships. I combine my passion and expertise of photography to capture images that will re-live the day. We live, laugh, and love because of the friendships we have established....my job is to capture these friendships!
